Eduardo Orendain Jr. is a fifth generation distiller and the head of sales for Tequila Arette. A proud member of the Orendain family, Eduardo says he was born with tequila in his veins. His great, great grandfather was among the pioneers of tequila, and the Orendain family is one of the four “tequila founding families” in Mexico. Tequila Arette is produced from 100% organic, estate grown blue weber agave at the family’s original distillery, El Llano, the third-oldest distillery in the town of Tequila, Mexico.

Following in his predecessors’ footsteps, Eduardo has taken on the role of representing Tequila Arette and sharing his love for agave spirits across the globe. He has a passion for educating people about traditional methods for making tequila, and as part of that mission we are honored to host him at Epiphany for this special tasting! Eduardo is also the co-founder and master distiller for Paladar Tequila, a traditionally made tequila brand that launched in 2022.
